Responsibilities for Production Supervisor:
- Coordinate production, repair & overhaul (R&O), engineering prototype, and test activities in an electronics and mechanical assembly production environment.
- Supervise all production efforts within assigned departments with an aim for high performance.
- Assist with the onboarding process of new hires.
- Follow performance improvement efforts until goals are met to include identifying root causes of performance issues and setting up plan for improvement.
- Monitor performance of team including schedule, cost, quality, and safety while ensuring procedures/instructions are performed appropriately and safe work practices are being followed by employees.
- Promote continuous improvement culture that includes Lean Six Sigma tools and concepts that includes conducting Team Meetings which disseminate information sharing, performance goals and expectations.
- Interface with support groups to include coordinating with Production Planner to support production requirements.
- Support, promote, and provide feedback on business management systems procedures (ISO, regulatory, etc.) and policies.
- Ensure business metrics and product quality requirements are met.

Qualifications for Production Supervisor:
- Minimum 5 years' experience working in a supervisory role. Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree (engineering, technology or business administration preferred). Experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Must be able to train on day shift and work either day or evening shift as required.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution attributes.
- Ability to use, modify and explain prepared reports to aid in meeting production goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to approach issues with a systematic approach that yields positive results.
- Electronic troubleshooting skills a plus.
- Knowledge of production and test processes.
- Knowledge and proficiency of Oracle MRP skills beneficial.

Schedule:
7AM - 5PM (Mon - Thurs)
7AM - 4PM (Every other Friday)
