Mortgage Consultant 

We have a great opportunity for a mortgage originator in Eastern Pennsylvania.  Our client is looking for a  Mortgage Consultant  who is currently doing business and has a network of contacts within the Lehigh Valley.  Our client is an established, financially sound community bank that is growing and profitable.  They are not overly saturated with lenders in the market and the Mortgage Consultant  will be assigned to partner with at least one, if not multiple, branches in the region.

Essential Functions: 

• Seeks prospective opportunities to develop new clients
• Recommends loan solutions in accordance with lending guidelines and clients' requirements in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas 
• Develops and prepares loan solutions and refers products and services
• Reviews documentation prior to submittal to underwriting
• Maintains communication with borrowers and back office support team, to ensure a positive customer experience at every touch point 
• Cross-sell and refer additional bank products to grow the relationship between the customer and the Bank

Here is what our client requests:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of mortgage loan origination experience
• A track record of generating business and a network of COI's in the Lehigh Valley 
• Ability to establish quality relationships with the assigned branch/branches 
• Must be aware of, understand and comply with all Fair Lending Laws
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 4 year degree in a related field
