Job Description

Lease Up Leasing Manager

This position requires:

  • Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday 9am-6pm
  • Ability to work weekends regularly
  • Dependable vehicle for transportation to, from, and around the portfolio daily
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent phone, written, and in-person communications

About you:

Your Property Management sales skills are on fire. You feel comfortable leasing the leasing team as the face of our award-winning portfolio. You are an accomplished multitasker and a dedicated sales person with an eye for detail. You do not shy away from a fast paced work environment! 

You are also:

  • A good communicator with 2+ years of experience in the property management industry
  • Have had some exposure to new construction/lease up properties 
  • Work in an urgent and organized fashion consistently 
  • Strong in sales and communication with a work history of sales related positions 
  • Able to manage multiple projects at multiple properties
  • Able to effectively manage, coach and train the leasing team 
  • Proficient in learning new technology and using it on a daily basis to streamline communication and meet goals quickly 
  • Experienced in meeting closing ratio requirements 
  • Able to meet weekly, monthly, quarterly leasing goals
  • Able to process paperwork with minimal to zero errors
  • Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
  • Effectively present information to management and residents
  • Proficient with basic computational skills such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
  • Able to complete file audits and work comfortably with Microsoft office suites including excel
  • Experience with or able to learn Google Suites 
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and able to adapt to fast-changing situations
  • Experienced working across multiple departments with managers of varying degrees
  • Customer-focused
  • Up to date with all Fair Housing Regulations, local ordinances and laws, and other legal issues affecting property management
  • Familiar with Yardi or equivalent property management software

Physical Demands: (with or without reasonable accommodations)

  • Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 8 hours per day. Walking and standing are required. The length of time for these tasks may vary from day to day.
  • Requires standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating.
  • Must be able to operate office equipment such as computers, printers filing systems, and other office equipment as needed.
