Events & Marketing Coordinator - Financial Services - Boston, MA
We are seeking candidates for an Events & Marketing Coordinator position with an industry-leading financial services located in Boston, MA. The Events & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for managing the logistics, communication, and execution of marketing programs and events. This role ensures smooth delivery of event-related activities, manages budgets and timelines, and supports key marketing initiatives to enhance brand presence and engagement. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and skilled in coordinating multiple deliverables simultaneously and MUST HAVE CVENT and Salesforce experience.
This is a 12+ month contract that will pay $40-42/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour work week.
Responsibilities:
Oversee program deliverables, including marketing communications, collateral creation, and registration/invitation copy and promotions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of materials.
Manage event logistics, including venue coordination, booth setup for industry conferences, and on-site support as needed.
Maintain an updated events and conferences calendar with all relevant details, including dates, costs, and venues.
Support smaller industry conference deliverables by coordinating booth setup, promotional items, and related logistics.
Submit event invoices and maintain an accurate event budget tracker, ensuring all expenses are recorded and aligned with allocated budgets.
Oversee premiums inventory through Harte Hanks, ensuring appropriate stock levels, refreshing items as needed, and maintaining integration with Salesforce.
Track and analyze event performance, focusing on return on investment (ROI) and effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
Assist in drafting sales communications and promotional materials for events.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field.
2-4 years of experience in event coordination, marketing, or a similar role.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in event management tools (CVENT), marketing software, and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and provide on-site support as required.
